Importing Watchlist Symbols

The Import Watchlist Symbols option on the File menu allows you to import a CSV or text file that is formatted with the first line of the file must contain the column header 'symbol' (We use this column header to determine which columns contain valid symbols to import).

If the spreadsheet contains less than the allotted maximum of five symbol columns and each column contains less than the maximum symbols, the file imported watchlist will be identical to the source file.

If either the number of columns or amount of symbols found within those columns is greater than our limits, the application will import line by line into each section to maximize space.

To import a list of symbols to the Watchlist, click on the File menu and select Import Watchlist Symbols. Click on the Magnify Glass symbol to locate the file to import.

Once you have located the file, click on 'OK'. The imported Watchlist will now appear in this module.
